Give a Toy, Get a Toy: Dell Children's Holiday Drive

Celebrate 2 years of joy! Bring a new toy to our Nov 1 fest for 4 live bands & fun, get a free plushie, & support Dell Children's kids! Two years ago this November, I started a grassroots project with a simple mission: to spread joy by giving away free toys at all of my shows. Since then, I've given away over 900 toys to kids and adults alike. Now, to celebrate our 2-year anniversary, I want to expand this project to a very special group of children—those who can’t be out at live music shows because they are receiving critical treatment at Dell Children’s Medical Center. Fiscally sponsored by Austin Creative Alliance and sponsered by Raising Cane's! Our goal is to connect two amazing communities of families and kids together through the power of kindness. To make this happen, we are hosting a massive community festival and toy drive on November 1st, featuring a "Give a Toy, Get a Toy" swap! When you bring a new, prepackaged toy to donate (or make a monetary donation directly to Dell Children's right here on this page), you get to take a free plush stuffed animal home with you. It is a simple way to encourage kids to spread kindness to others and get a little bit of magic back in return. 🔆You can access Dell Children's Amazon Wishlist here: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/2I8FI6Q0U1PPX/ref=hz_ls_biz_ex 🔆You can donate to Kelsi Creek's fundraiser for Dell Children's here: https://give.supportdellchildrens.org/fundraisers Come out on November 1st and celebrate community with us! The event features: * 🎶 Live Music: Performances from 3 incredible live bands * 🎪 Community Partners: Interactive tabling from the Austin Public Library, Keep Austin Beautiful, Planned Parenthood, We Are Blood, and more * 🏆 Costume Contest: Show off your best Halloween costumes for a chance to win prizes * 🌮 Local Eats: Delicious tastings from Criolla Kitchen and Cheeky Olives. * 🎨 Fun Activities: Crafts for the kids with a Messages to Dell Children's table where you can write encouraging letters to children receiving treatment. If you can't make it to the event in person, you can still be a part of this circle of kindness! Every dollar donated to this fundraising page goes directly to Dell Children’s Medical Center to support local kids and their families during their toughest moments. Let’s come together, Austin, and play it forward! Thank you for helping us celebrate two years of joy by bringing smiles to the kids who need them most.
