Community Sound Bath in Sherman Oaks | Sunday Morning Reset

Start your Sunday grounded. Join us outdoors in Sherman Oaks for an accessible community sound bath designed to help you slow down & reset Start your Sunday grounded. Join Aura Manifest for our monthly Community Sound Bath in Sherman Oaks, a relaxed outdoor gathering created to give you space to slow down, reset, and start the month feeling a little more centered. We’ll settle onto the grass and move into an immersive sound journey using crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, chimes, and other instruments designed to support rest, relaxation, and mindfulness. No meditation experience is needed. You don’t have to know how to “clear your mind.” Just get comfortable and let yourself be still for a while. What to expect • A short grounding and intention-setting practice • Approximately 45–50 minutes of immersive sound • Crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, chimes, and additional instruments • Time for stillness, reflection, and deep rest • Eye masks provided for all guests • A welcoming experience for both first-timers and returning guests Some people meditate. Some reflect. Some drift in and out of sleep. There’s no right way to experience a sound bath. What to bring Bring whatever will help you feel comfortable lying or sitting on the grass: • Yoga mat • Blanket or towel • Pillow or bolster, if you’d like • Water • Comfortable layers • An extra blanket or layer to place underneath you Morning grass can sometimes be cool or damp, so I recommend bringing an extra layer between your mat and the ground. Finding us We’ll gather on one of the grassy lawn areas at Van Nuys–Sherman Oaks Recreation Center. Because other park activities can vary from week to week, please check your email for any location information or changes. Please plan to arrive about 10–15 minutes early so you have time to park, find the group, and get settled before we begin. Come alone. Bring a friend. Come back each month. For one hour, there’s nowhere else you need to be. Weather + cancellations This is an outdoor event. If weather or park conditions make it unreasonable to hold the session, registered guests will be contacted with updated information. Tickets are otherwise nonrefundable same day. If Aura Manifest cancels the event, guests will receive information about a refund or event credit. We know life happens so you may request a refund 24hrs before the event. We also give credit if you contact us directly. Sound baths are intended to support relaxation, mindfulness, and personal reflection and are not a substitute for medical or mental health care.
