Soma & Sound

Soma & Sound returns for 90 minutes of gentle movement, guided meditation, and live sound, set in the serene glow of The Walter Art Gallery. We’re back for one final Soma & Sound of the year. Join Jennifer Miles-Williams and Moshé Williams for 90 minutes of gentle somatic movement, guided meditation, deep rest, and live sound inside the immersive setting of Walter Art Gallery. Throughout the entire experience, Moshé creates a continuous live soundscape using crystal singing bowls, gong, percussion, euphone, and other instruments. Sound accompanies the movement and meditation from beginning to end, eventually giving way to an extended period of stillness and deep rest. No previous yoga or meditation experience is needed. Come as you are. WHAT TO EXPECT • Gentle somatic movement • Guided meditation + NSDR • Continuous live instrumentation • Extended sound immersion + deep rest • Space to slow down, reconnect, and simply receive WHAT TO BRING Please bring: • Yoga mat • Blanket • Pillow or bolster • Water • Anything else that will help you feel comfortable lying down for an extended period of time Dress in comfortable clothing that allows you to move and rest easily.
