Yoga Alignment 101

Understand the objective of each yoga pose and come into it in a way that works with your body. Welcome to Alignment 101 at Magnolia Yoga and Healing Arts! A loosely structured workshop, Alignment 101's goal is to understand the objective of each pose and come into it in a way that works with your body. An aligned pose delivers its intended benefits. You will get to dive into poses in a way that regular classes won't allow due to time constraints. We will flesh out some of the most error-prone poses (for lack of a better word) — like Triangle, Warrior 1, Warrior 3, Reverse Triangle, Cobra, Upward Facing Dog, among others — and their common pitfalls. This casual session mixes conversation with movement, and will leave enough time at the end for a simple sequence to weave all the poses into a short flow. Appropriate for all levels, but especially helpful for those with some yoga experience (3 months or more). We can't wait to see you there! Feel free to sign up directly from our booking system to avoid fees.
