TEN-360: Newborn Advanced Life Support 2026

The course is suited to health professionals who wish to extend/renew their knowledge in resuscitation of the newborn in the labour ward, operating theatre, following (unplanned) birthing in the emergency department and in rural and remote environments. The training will assist to build the confidence and skills required to recognise and respond to a newborn requiring resuscitation. Key skills that will covered in the workshop include: • NALS algorithm • Newborn Airway management and Bag/Mask Ventilation • Set up and use of the Neopuff Ventilator • Newborn Cardiac compressions • Umbilical Vein Access • Advanced life Support medications and fluids • Reversible causes in Newborn advanced life support • Certification of Skills: Post MCQ and Competency Assessment
