Complex Commode Selection (Brisbane)

Venue & ticket info

Rob Norman (Paragon Mobility) will take a practical look at commode selection for clients with specific and complex needs. Explore the options available, key considerations in the selection process, and how to match equipment to the client’s individual needs and goals. Learn how different features and adjustments can be used to optimise positioning, pressure management and functional outcomes, with customisation strategies to get the most out of the equipment. Expect a day of practical learning, clinical reasoning, hands-on exploration and real-world solutions you can take back into your practice. Why not make a day of it? We’re also running a morning workshop, 'Complex Wheelchair Seating' with Joana Santiago from the OT Lab. If you’re attending the afternoon workshop, consider joining us in the morning as well. Join us for lunch! If you decide to attend both workshops, we’ll be serving lunch between sessions. It’s a great chance to relax, network with fellow attendees, and recharge for the second half of the day. For those attending only the afternoon session, we’d love for you to come early and join us for lunch. It’s a great opportunity to connect with others and enjoy a delicious meal.
