Humanitarian Monthly Meet Up

Join us for the next Humanitarian Community Monthly Meet-Up organised by Australian Red Cross! This year Australian Red Cross is celebrating World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day by creating a dedicated space for humanitarians and those with an interest in learning about the humanitarian field to come together, connect and discuss humanitarian topics such as international humanitarian law. Come on your own or bring a friend and enjoy an evening meeting and connecting with people in a relaxed environment. Whether you’ve returned from an overseas humanitarian mission or simply looking to be a part of an active community of people with similar interests — everyone is welcome! Pop by for a bit or stay for a while — we look forward to seeing you there! Monthly meet ups will be hosted every second Wednesday of the month at a variety of locations around Brisbane to foster an inclusive environment and support the diverse interests and needs of our community. Australian Red Cross has a mandate to disseminate international humanitarian law under the Statutes of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and the 1949 Geneva Conventions and their Additional Protocols.
