The Art of Receiving

An embodied gathering of love, gratitude & connection. THE ART OF RECEIVING Ive been thinking a lot lately about love, gratitude and connection, and how deeply these things can shape the way we experience our lives. We often think of love as something we give, something we receive from another person, or simply something we feel. But what happens when we actually let it change us? When we allow ourselves to be moved by the people around us, by our own bodies, by the beauty of being alive? When gratitude becomes more than something we think about, and instead becomes a deeper knowing that we only have this one life, and that knowing begins to change the way we live it. This is the space I want to explore together. So this month, I want to create a space around The Art of Receiving. We will move through: • Somatic Yin to gently invite the body to open • Breathwork to soften the places it may be holding • Meditation • Connection A space for women to come together, slow down and explore what it feels like to receive through the body, rather than simply understanding the idea of it in our minds. We’ll move through Yin, breathwork and connection, with space to journey inward while also feeling the energy and presence of the women around us. We’ll explore the physical heart and the emotional experience of opening ourselves to love, connection and gratitude. For me, gratitude is not about forcing ourselves to look for the positive or convincing ourselves that everything is perfect. It is more of a deep knowing that we only get this one life, and that there is something really beautiful about being here to experience it. This will be a slower, more relational space. A place where you don’t need to arrive with anything figured out, and where you can simply come as you are. I want you to leave feeling connected to your body, connected to the women around you, and hopefully with a little more space inside yourself to receive the love, connection and life that is already here.
