Heart Opener for Healers | Goddess Night for Women in Healthcare

Friday the 13th belongs to the divine feminine. A cacao ceremony and a space for women in healthcare to gather, connect, create and enjoy. Heart Opener: A Friday the 13th Goddess Night for Women in Healthcare Long before it was labelled unlucky, Friday the 13th was associated with the divine feminine, celebrating the goddesses and for women to gather and share their stories. In the medieval period, the Church decided that women gathering was superstitious, and it was rebranded as such. We're taking it back. This is an evening for women working in healthcare: nurses, allied health, doctors, social workers and psychologists. Many of us love our work and our teams, yet feel worn down by the systems we work within. That isn't a personal failing. It's a signal that we need spaces that fill us back up. Through cacao, creativity and connection, we'll come together to slow down, open the heart and remember the parts of ourselves beyond the clinic. What to expect Cacao Ceremony with Jaimee Jaimee; biomedical engineer, meditation teacher, Reiki healer and NLP coach brings together the science of the body and the wisdom of the heart. She will open the evening with a ceremonial cacao, calling in the four directions and guiding a heart-centred meditation to help you arrive, ground and settle into your body. Creative flow with Libby Libby; Occupational Therapist, poet, published author and creative facilitator, will guide you through writing prompts for poetry, storytelling or journaling, woven with music to help the words flow. Prefer to draw or paint? That's welcome too (bring your own materials if you'd like). Connection, storytelling and closing ceremony Together, Libby and Jaimee will hold a sharing circle, where you're invited (never required) to share your story or creation.
