Salt Room Sound Meditation Experience

Location: SALTS OF THE EARTH HAMPTON - 473 Hampton Street, Hampton, VIC Duration: 1 hour Surrounded by salt and immersed in layers of sound, you will be guided through one deeply restorative hour. The vibrations of the instruments move around and through the room, creating an experience that feels both grounding and expansive. There is no pressure to clear your mind or meditate in a particular way. You can simply listen, breathe and allow yourself to be supported by the experience. This experience is especially for anyone who has been feeling tense, mentally busy, overstimulated or disconnected from themselves. You do not need to arrive feeling calm. Come exactly as you are, and allow the sound, salt and stillness to guide you back to centre. The Salt Therapy Experience While you meditate, a specialised halogenerator gently disperses microscopic particles of pharmaceutical-grade dry salt into the air. As you breathe, these fine particles are inhaled and may also settle lightly on the skin. Salt therapy, also known as halotherapy, is a gentle, non-invasive complementary wellbeing practice. People are often drawn to the experience when they are seeking: • a sense of clearer, more comfortable breathing • support during times of seasonal congestion • a calm and comfortable environment in which to rest • time away from everyday stimulation • a greater sense of relaxation and overall wellbeing The warm, quiet environment of the Salt Room adds another layer to the meditation. Away from phones, responsibilities and interruptions, your senses have less to process, giving the mind and body time to settle together. Spaces are strictly limited to 9 guests.
