Full description from organizer

Frailty is one of the most under-recognised yet modifiable conditions in general practice. This practical session will equip GPs with evidence-based tools to identify frailty early and recognise functional decline before it becomes a crisis. We’ll also explore the role of strength training in frail older adults, recognising exercise as a genuine clinical intervention. Walk away with practical, evidence-based strategies you can apply in your very next consultation. Presenters: Dr Kelly Wright, Geriatrician FRACP MBBS B.BioMedSci, Age Right Ms Louisa Sikaris, Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Kieser Collingwood/Heidelberg/Northcote
