Unstruck

There is a sound that continues uncaused, on its own. The yogic tradition calls it unstruck, the note underneath every other note. It is the same word used for the heart, because a heartbeat simply sounds, on its own, for as long as it beats. Unstruck is a live breathwork series facilitated by Sunni Hart and an incredible line up of musicians. In this space the sound and the musician are active participants. They will each play with presence and "the relationship between intention, improvisation, and what remains beyond control." Grace Ferguson. Sound becomes another way in, alongside breath, both of them moving toward what's rising, what's ready to move, toward the unstruck place within each of us. Each person will be invited to add a flower to a mandala as the session evolves, in the spirit of intention, interconnectedness, or whatever it is you feel called to contribute.
