GameSmart Home Schooling Session

GameSmart workshop for Homeschoolers Join us for a free, fun workshop that teaches about the links between gaming and gambling, how to minimise risk of harm from gambling and where to seek support. 📅 Date: Monday 21st September 2026 🕒 Time: 10:30 AM - 11:30 PM with a short parent/carer session to follow. Alternative activities will be held in the hall for parents during student session and students during parent session. 📍 Location: Bonnells Bay Youth & Community Centre, 275 Fishery Point Road Bonnells Bay 👤 Ages: 10-15 Play along and learn about gambling harm minimisation in a relaxed, judgement free zone We'll explore some existing knowledge together and learn ✅ What is gambling and isn't it just something adults do? ✅ What are some things online games do to encourage gambling behaviours ✅ What to do if you notice some things that have you concerned Fuel Recharge Enjoy snacks and water to keep your energy up! 🎟 Limited Spots – Register Now! This event is proudly funded by the Community Benefit Payment Scheme and hosted by CALM Inc. in partnership with Gamble Aware Hunter New England providing an engaging experience for young people in our community, Spaces are limited, so be sure to register early to secure your spot! Afterwards, parents and carers are invited to join in for a short parent session. Students can enjoy activities in the hall during this time.
