Pregnancy, Birth and Mother Circle (Well Facilitated, Free Event)

Join this special, monthly, event honouring the fertility, birth and mothering journey. Run by warm hearted Doulas/Counsellors There is nothing more enjoyable than a well-facilitated circle! A GREAT circle is: fun; connecting; genuine... and packed with useful wisdoms! Once a month we gather - women at various stages of their journeys to learn, share and enjoy hearing from other women. Guests include: pregnant women, wise-birthed-mothers (willing to share their birth learnings), partners, grandmas, children, birth workers, health practitioners (specialising in birth, pregnant and babies), birth doulas and women on their baby making journeys! We sit in comfort and enjoy being guided to share and listen by experienced facilitators. All participants are welcome to speak as their turn comes, or say "pass" and simply listen. Meetings are professionally facilitated and are welcoming, open-minded, warm hearted and emotionally helpful and empowering. TIME: 2026: ALWAYS The Second Thursday of each Month, from 10 am. Circle officially completes approximately one hour after we begin (varies when we have extra numbers, usual circle is about 6-10 attendees) After that time, manyguests tend to naturally stay on and enjoy social chats and birth chats. Location: 342 Hillsborough Road, Warners Bay. (just down the hill from the Genesis and Genetics Gyms) KEY DETAILS: Participants have such a lovely connecting and interesting time and leave feeling light, warm and re-enlivened. There is no ticket fee and never will be. This is our gift to the community. We do this to carry on a 35 year tradition in the Hunter set by the birth groups that came before us! (and yes, it naturally operates as generally, usually, a womens space...BUT, supporters are always welcomed and bring a fresh perspective whdn they do come along). Meeting months and share topics: January (Thurs Jan 8th, 2026): My relationship with my body Febuary(Thurs Feb 12th, 2026): My relationship with my mother figure/s March(Thurs March 12th, 2026): My relationship with my father figure/s April (Thurs April 9th, 2026): My relationship with my partner/ex partner/s May (Thurs May 14th, 2026): My relationship with money, career AND self June (Thurs June 11th, 2026): My relationship with flight, fight, freeze and fawn etc July (Thurs July 9th, 2026): My relationship with my ancestors births, my own birth as a baby, my menstruation (this circle will include an interactive, guided journalling) August (Thurs Aug 12th, 2026): My relationship with my current birth environment plan, my birth team, supporters, care provider and my needs, wants and desires Sepetember (Thurs Sept 10th, 2026): My relationship with grief and loss, and fear of grief and loss (let's also chat about how grief relates directly to relaxing the body for birthing) October (Thurs Oct 8th, 2026): My relationship with life needs and patterns such as: passive, assertive, aggressive, passive/aggressive November (Thurs Nov 12th, 2026) My relationship with my Mood, My Mind, My Mindset, My Mental Health. December (Thurs Dec 10th, 2026): A Special Christmas Time Event! My relationship with my birth visioning (this circle will include a wonderful birth visioning, guided meditation) (if you are sad you missed a key topic, thats all good, there are opportunities at each circle to bring up a key topic on your mind and honour that topic). MORE DETAILS: Meetings are always at 10am on the Second Thursday of the Month Participants commonly leave feeling light, warm and at ease. Donations? In short, not necessary or expected at all! But in reality, mums DO want to give back. If you desire to give back, at any time, at a later date... Some mums insist on making a donation to assist with rent and overheads. Other mums support us by spreading positive word as our "helper promotors"! Other mums support us by shopping at our preloved "op shop". Other mums support us by donating excellent quality and excellent condition clothes and goods TO help the Op Shop be fully stocked! Some mums bring a plate to share!
