Community Sound Bath - Perth Hills | Wildflower Sounds

An hour where nothing is required of you. No mantras. No breath holds. No performing. A sound bath is one of the few experiences that works whether or not you have ever meditated before, whether or not your mind stays quiet, and whether or not you fully believe in it. You lie down. The sound does the work. In about forty minutes, most people feel their shoulders drop and their breath finally slow. That is not magic - it is your parasympathetic nervous system doing exactly what it was designed to do. What to expect You will arrive to a warm, welcoming space in the Perth Hills with a comfy air mattress already waiting for you. Please bring your own pillow, blanket, and eye mask if you would like one - the cosier your setup, the more deeply you will rest. We begin with a short guided meditation to settle the body and mind, followed by approximately 40 minutes of sound using crystal singing bowls, a frame drum, chimes, and other instruments - planned specifically to support nervous system regulation and deep rest. This session is for you if: • You are chronically exhausted but cannot seem to switch off • Small things feel disproportionately hard lately • You carry tension in your jaw, shoulders, or chest that does not fully leave • You cannot remember the last time you fully exhaled • You are curious but a little sceptical - you are especially welcome here Practical details • Duration: 60 minutes (doors open 15 minutes prior). Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes early so you can settle in without rush. • Group size: Maximum 10 people • Location: St. Swithun's Hall, 195 Lesmurdie Road, Lesmurdie • Parking: Available on site • What to bring: A pillow, blanket and anything else that helps you feel comfortable. Wear something warm and layered - bodies cool down during deep rest. Bottle of water for hydration post-session. • Phones on silent, please A note on your wellbeing This is a trauma-aware space and every person in the room matters. To make sure the session is the right fit for you, there are a few things worth knowing before you book. Sound healing is not suitable for people with sound-induced epilepsy. If you have non-sound-induced epilepsy, a cardiac pacemaker, defibrillator, artificial heart valve, cardiac arrhythmia, stent, shunt, or deep brain stimulation device, please check in with your doctor before attending - they will be best placed to advise you based on your individual situation. If you are pregnant, you are warmly welcome at a later stage of your pregnancy, but it is generally advised to wait until after the first 12 weeks. Please consult your midwife or OB before booking so they can confirm it is the right time for you and your baby.
