AB FOOTBALL | SEPTEMBER 2026 HOLIDAY CLINIC Ages 8 to 12 | $45 per day | $150 for all 4 days DEVELOPING THE PLAYER. BUILDING THE PERSON. Our Holiday Clinic is designed for players aged 8 to 12 who want to develop their game, build confidence and enjoy the experience of playing football. Sessions are designed to challenge and support players at their level, whether they are developing their foundations or looking to take the next step. Football is the vehicle. Development of the player and the person is the goal. What to Bring: • Hat and sunscreen • Morning tea and water bottle • Comfortable sports clothes • Boots or runners and shinpads THE AB FOOTBALL APPROACH ⚽ Technical Development Building strong football fundamentals through progressive practices and game realistic challenges, helping players develop the skills to perform with purpose and consistency. 🧠 Football Intelligence Developing game understanding, decision making and awareness by learning to recognise space, create options and respond effectively to the game. 💙 Confidence Creating a supportive environment where players can be brave, learn from mistakes and express themselves, building self-belief, resilience and a love for playing. THE FOUR CORE SKILLS Across the clinic, players will work on developing four core skills that are fundamental to the game. FIRST TOUCH Receive the ball effectively and use your first touch to prepare for your next action. RUNNING WITH THE BALL Carry the ball, attack space and move forward with the ball. STRIKING THE BALL Develop passing and shooting with greater accuracy and consistency. 1V1 Take on opponents, create space and find ways to beat your player. MEET YOUR COACH Andy Barlow AFC / FA B Licence With over 10 years of coaching experience across grassroots, community and academy football, Andy is passionate about creating positive, challenging and enjoyable environments where young players can develop at their own level. THE GOAL We want every player to leave the clinic with stronger technical foundations, a better understanding of the game, greater confidence and an even bigger love for football.
