The First Home Edit

Thinking about buying your first home but not quite sure where to start, or what you actually need to know? The First Home Edit is a relaxed evening created for those who want to feel more confident about buying their first home. Hosted by She Finds. She Funds., we’re bringing finance and property together in one room to walk you through the first home buying journey from start to finish. We’ll cover borrowing capacity, deposits and the costs involved, getting finance-ready, pre-approval, finding the right property, how a buyer’s agent can help, making an offer, navigating the purchase and what to expect right through to settlement. We’ll cut through the jargon, share practical tips and answer the questions you’ve probably been Googling at 10pm. Whether buying is on your radar now or still a little way off, come along, bring your questions (and a friend!) and leave with a much clearer idea of what your path to a first home could look like. There’ll be plenty of time to ask questions and chat with us, with light refreshments and non-alcoholic drinks provided throughout the evening.
