BEING hosts a Codesign Consultation Workshop on Friday 13th November 2026 from 10:30am to 2:30pm at Parramatta Library for young people aged 16 to 30 in Western Sydney who will help design youth-led peace circles.

Peace of Mind — help us design it! BEING, the NSW peak body for people with lived experience of the mental health system, has been funded by Multicultural NSW to run Peace of Mind: youth-led peace circles for culturally and religiously diverse young people across Western Sydney. Before we finalise the program, we need young people to help us design it. We are holding a session on Friday 13th November 2026, 10:30am-2:30pm at Parramatta Library (PHIVE) for young people aged 16 to 30 in Western Sydney. Participants will be paid for their time. Travel costs will be reimbursed. Food will be provided. No advocacy experience is needed, we want to hear from young people with something to say who have not had a platform to say it — those who have disengaged from their school and communities, who find services difficult to access or trust. There are also limited spots available at this event for other stakeholders that work with young people, please complete an Expression of Interest if you'd like to attend.
