Sydney Scooter Club's Berry Comp is open to riders of all ages and abilities, with Rookie divisions available for riders who are new to competition. 🛴 Street + Park Competition 🏆 Rookie + age-based divisions 📍 Berry Skatepark, North Street, Berry NSW 🕘 Rider Check-in: 9:00am 🏁 Competition starts: 10:00am ➡️ Street first, followed by Park Riders can enter Street, Park, or BOTH. 🔥 Already competed with SSC this year? Berry is your LAST CHANCE to meet the competition requirement for the 2026 SSC State Championships. Choose how you'd like to enter Sydney Scooter Club has two registration options: SSC Club Members Club Membership - Perfect for riders who want to compete in SSC club events and State Championships. Not a member yet? Complete your Club Membership before registering for this event. Your membership must be completed and paid before competing. Member event entry: • Park or Street — $20 • Park and Street — $30 Single Event Entry — no membership required Just want to give scooter competition a go at Berry? You don't need to become a Club Member. • Park or Street — $40 • Park and Street — $50 Register before 8:00pm Friday 18 September. 🏆 Competition Categories Categories are based on the rider's age as at 31 December 2026, in line with Skate Australia requirements. Street • 11 & Under • 13 & Under • Junior — 14–17 • Open Men — 18+ • Open Women — All Ages • Masters — 30+ Park • 7 & Under • 11 & Under • Rookies • 13 & Under • 15 & Under • 17 & Under • Open Men - 18+ • Open Women — All Ages 🌱 New to competing? Start in Rookie! Rookie divisions are available for new riders. These are designed as an entry point into scooter competition and will be grouped according to rider age and experience based on registrations. Riders generally move from Rookie into their age-group division after gaining experience across their first 1–2 competitions. 🪖 Rider & Equipment Requirements This event is run under World Skate Scooter Rules. All riders must wear an appropriate protective helmet during warm-up and competition runs. Helmets must provide appropriate cranial coverage, impact-absorbing padding and a secure chin strap with buckle. Riders must use a park-style scooter consisting of: • Deck • Handlebars • Two wheels Toy scooters, dirt scooters and scooters with folding mechanisms, more than two wheels or non-rotating headsets are not permitted.
