The Crucible by Arthur Miller

Arthur Miller’s thoughtful and thrilling modern classic set amid the Salem witch trials. Ce spectacle est présenté en anglais / This show is presented in English In The Crucible, Arthur Miller uses the Salem witch trials to explore Americas relationship to theocracy, hypocricy, and the dangers of any religion “that calls for blood.” With new iterations of Puritanism on the rise today, Miller's play feels as thrilling and thought-provoking as ever. This production wrestles with the play’s stirring subject, and the play itself, interrogating the relationships between power and paranoia, and what invisible spirits might be lurking around (and within) each of us.
