Sauté Sundays: Friendsgiving Edition + DIY Mocktail Bar

October is Friendsgiving 🍂 No featured cookbook this month. Bring a recipe you love: one from your favourite cookbook (any format), or your own family recipe. It's Friendsgiving, so the dish you always bring to the holidays counts too. We're also setting up a DIY mocktail bar with Sobrii 0-Spirits and Heartwood Farm & Cidery, so you can build your own drink for the night. We're opening 35 seats. How it works: 🥘 Pick a favourite, from a cookbook or your own kitchen🍳 Cook it at home🍴 Bring your dish to share (8-10 portions) — everyone participates💬 Eat, hang, and chat with fellow food lovers Got the book at home? Feel free to bring it along so people can flip through it. Totally optional. No professional skills required. Just bring your appetite, curiosity, and love for communal eating. Bringing a friend? Send them the link so they can grab their own spot, and let them know everyone cooks a dish. A few friendly notes: ✅A confirmation email will be sent after you RSVP, including the recipe sign-up link and an invitation to our WhatsApp community. If you don't see it, feel free to reach out.✅ Please choose your recipe and add your name to the sign-up sheet within 3 days of RSVPing (or sooner if the event is within a week). This keeps the spread balanced. Cooking a family recipe? Please list the main ingredients so we can flag allergens. With no shared cookbook this month, this matters more than usual.🍽️ Please bring your own plate, utensils, and serving spoon if possible. It helps us keep things simple and sustainable.📸 By joining this gathering, you consent to photography and videography that may be shared by Sauté Sundays and our event partners, including on social media and in promotional material. Cancellation & Waitlist If you can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer your seat to someone on the waitlist. If a seat opens: 2+ days before the event — 24 hours to confirm Within 48 hours — openings are typically shared in our WhatsApp Community Waitlist movement closes 12 hours before the event. Repeated no-shows or late cancellations without notice may affect your place in future early access — out of fairness to everyone who put in the time to cook.
