Join us for a two-day ceramics conference filled with artist demonstrations, talks, exhibitions, and activities! 1000 Miles Apart is a ceramics conference that connects five post-secondary ceramics programs across Canada - the University of Manitoba, University of Regina, Alberta University of the Arts, Red Deer Polytechnic, and Lakehead University - through exhibitions, artist demonstrations, and activities. Students, artists, and community members are all welcome to join us! Three artists (Naomi Clement, Toni Losey, Julianna zwierciadlowska-rhymer) will demonstrate throughout the two-day conference, and each artist will also give an artist talk. Light refreshments and coffee will be provided each morning.
