Hunter's Moon Gong Bath

The leaves are falling, the Hunter's Moon is rising, and apparently it’s time to release a few things. Come lie down under the moon. The Hunter's Moon arrives as we begin to prepare for winter in earnest.The days seem markedly shorter now, the leaves are putting on their autumn show. On October 25, we return to a season of full moon meditations - we haven’t marked the full moon for nearly seven months! I suspect we are all ready to release a few things… The Hunter’s Moon is a moon of discernment, offering us a chance to explore and release what has truly reached the end of its season, and at the same time turn toward what will nourish and sustain us through the depths of winter. The full moon is a natural time for clarity and release. Like the Harvest Moon, the Hunter’s Moon is bright and long in the sky, offering a beautiful moment to pause, reflect and take stock. Because of where it is happening in the sky, this Hunter’s Moon carries an earthy quality - inviting us toward an appreciation for what makes life feel full and steady. Through the sounds and vibrations of the gongs, bowls, chimes and other instruments, we’ll move through this seasonal transition together, making space for release, deep rest and whatever the Hunter’s Moon has to reveal.
