Join Hope Igniters of Winnipeg 's 2nd Annual Reconciliation Walk. Sacred Fire Ceremony, drumming, and teachings by an accompanying Elder Join Hope Igniters of Winnipeg INC. for our 2nd Annual Reconciliation Walk: Bridging the Gap and Moving Forward.This free, family-focused gathering centers on a traditional Sacred Fire Ceremony, drumming, singing, and guided historical teachings by an accompanying Elder. Everyone is welcome to join our circle of solidarity and healing at the Kapabamayak Achaak Healing Forest inside St. John's Park. What is provided: • Free food and light meals • Traditional tea • Orange shirts (all above while supplies last) Please note: Registration is not mandatory but to help us secure your spot and confirm your t-shirt size. link : https://bit.ly/reconciliation-walk-registration Event Schedule: • 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM: Opening Address and Welcomes • 9:00 AM – 10:15 AM: Sacred Fire Ceremony, drumming, and traditional teachings • 10:15 AM – 11:30 AM: Guided Elder-led historical tour, closing reflection, and ceremony Come honor residential school survivors with local Elders and Fire Keepers. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible and pet-friendly.
