A relaxed in-person gathering to connect, share, and support veterans’ wellbeing. Veterans wellbeing Join us at Corfe Castle for a practical wellbeing event for veterans, exploring stress, fatigue and how we respond when life feels demanding. We’ll look at what happens in the brain and body under pressure, why we can become more reactive when tired or overwhelmed, and how recognising these patterns can help us respond with greater awareness and choice. During the event, you can expect: • Understanding stress and fatigue: how they affect our energy, concentration, emotions and everyday lives. • Making sense of our reactions: why we sometimes react automatically and how to notice the early signs of overload. • Practical skills to try: simple approaches to grounding, mindful breathing and managing energy that you can take into daily life. • The science behind the skills: accessible explanations of how these approaches can support wellbeing. There’s no need for previous experience of mindfulness or wellbeing activities. You’ll be invited to take part at your own pace, with no pressure to share personal experiences. An opportunity to pause, connect with other veterans and leave with practical ideas for looking after yourself.
