Enjoy the healing qualities of the Sauna, paired with meditative sound healing and sauna ritual Sauna + Sound: A Ritual Of Rest 90 minutes at Ditchling Wild Sauna A chance to step out of the day to day routine for a while and settle into something simpler, slower, more restorative. We are inviting you to create some space to soften, reset and reconnect. This 90-minute multi sensory experience brings together the healing warmth of Sauna, the meditative sound frequencies of a Soundbath and some nourishing elements inspired by traditional Eastern European sauna rituals - warm leaf whisking, scented steam, salt body scrubs. Sauna has been used for generations as an environment to gather, restore and support wellbeing. The process of being enveloped by gentle heat helps muscles soften, circulation increase and the body shift towards rest and repair. Short immersive sound experiences - using singing bowls, gong, chimes, drum and vocals - will be woven through the session. These will take place both inside - to enhance the warming effects of being in the sauna - and outside in nature - to cool, settle and recalibrate. You don’t need any previous experience with sauna, sound healing, meditation or wellbeing practices to join us. You are free to engage with as much or a little as you feel at the time and there’s always free movement in and out of the sauna space. At Ditchling Wild Sauna we are in the heart of an extraordinary unspoilt natural environment, there is plenty of relaxation time and space for you to simply enjoy the surroundings either before, after and during the Sauna and Sound session. Bring swimwear, water and something cosy for afterwards. Spaces are limited to keep the session intimate.
