Essex New Year Retreat: Reset, Set Intentions & Start Calm

A gentle 3-hour reset to calm your nervous system and set clear, kind intentions for the year ahead. Do you want to start the year feeling calm and clear rather than rushed and run down? Join us for a restorative Sunday afternoon at Thaxted Wellness Hub. What happens: gentle yin and restorative movement, breathwork, a guided intention-setting practice, and a deeply relaxing crystal singing bowl sound bath. How it can help: slowing the breath and resting in sound can help ease tension, support better sleep and leave you feeling grounded, refreshed and clear about what you want for the year ahead. No experience needed, you can adapt or rest at any point, and everything is provided. Refreshments included. Spaces are limited at our small, rural wellness hub, so book early to avoid missing out. IMPORTANT HEALTH INFORMATION Breathwork, yin yoga and sound bath practices are gentle, but they are not suitable for everyone. Please do not book without checking with your GP first if you: • are pregnant • have epilepsy or a history of seizures • have a pacemaker or heart condition • have high or low blood pressure • have glaucoma or a detached retina • have asthma or a breathing condition • have a mental health condition, or a history of trauma, panic or dissociation • have tinnitus or are sensitive to sound • have had recent surgery or an injury You can adapt, rest or stop at any point.
