It's the perfect chance to enjoy the crisp autumn air while spotting some local wildlife. Don’t forget your comfy shoes and a keen eye for birds and other critters! Schedule • 10:00 AM — Meet at Ramsgate Boating Pool • Coastal walk towards Pegwell Bay • Lunch break at Pegwell • Afternoon exploration of the Nature Reserve • 4:00 PM — Return and finish What to bring • Binoculars (some can be borrowed) • Packed lunch • Weather‑appropriate clothing • Sturdy footwear suitable for uneven coastal paths Important information • Maximum of six participants to ensure a quiet, wildlife‑friendly experience. • The walk includes uneven terrain and may be muddy in places. • Please check the weather forecast and dress accordingly. • The event will go ahead unless conditions are unsafe. About your guide Keith Ross is a wildlife filmmaker based in Ramsgate, known for his work documenting Kent’s coastal habitats. His work has featured on the BBC One Show, BBC Countryfile, BBC Springwatch & Winterwatch. Keith also mentors young filmmakers through the Kent Film Foundation.
