Floating Sound Bath & Deep Relaxation Experience Stoke on Trent

At this floating soundbath you lie back on a floating airbed while the tones of gongs, drums and shimmering instruments move through the space around you. Sound travels about four times faster through water than it does through air. As the vibrations move across the pool and into the airbed beneath you, the body does not just hear the sound, it begins to feel it. Through the muscles, fascia and nervous system. As the body senses rhythm and vibration, breathing often slows, the body softens and the nervous system begins to settle. It becomes less about “listening” and more about allowing the body to respond.
