大地色彩．貝澳 ｜Earth Colours．Pui O

Garden Plus Public sales open 5pm on 25 October 在大嶼山最大濕地貝澳的秋日，田野間的本土植物烏桕葉隨季節轉紅，是南大嶼一幀獨特的風景。 跟隨在貝澳札根園藝嘉農埸成員，在貝澳採摘來的紅色烏桕葉，將之化為植物染料，以手作體會天然色彩的微妙，留下大嶼山秋日的色彩。 Wander Pui O—Lantau’s largest wetland—and you’ll find Chinese tallow trees tucked among the fields. As autumn arrives and their leaves turn shades of red and brown, it’s a perfect moment to gather them. In this workshop, you’ll bring a hand-picked harvest of Chinese tallow back to Garden Plus and learn how to turn the leaves into natural dyes. Through hands-on making, you’ll experiment with the colours hidden in the landscape and create something of your own, while getting to know the plants, ecology and seasonal rhythms of Pui O and the surrounding peninsula. Come brew up your own autumn palette, grown from the land itself.
