Live at Eaton: Intersecting Thai somatic ritual with pop rhythm to test physical limits. 逸東現場藝術祭：交織泰國傳統舞蹈與流行節奏，探索耐力肉身如何棲居神聖與大眾文化。 Riding the Rhythm (WIP) 馭律而動 (階段性展演) Kornkarn Rungsawang (Thailand) Riding the Rhythm (WIP) investigates dance as a relational force negotiated between bodies. Intersecting traditional Thai folk horse dance practices with rhythmic structures based on the artist's horse riding experience, Kornkarn Rungsawang uses embodied listening and choreographic movement to explore how folk theater traditions and mindfulness practice inhabit the contemporary dancer’s somatic body. *The session on December 6 will be followed by a post-performance dialogue with the artist, conducted in English. 《馭律而動 (階段性展演)》探討舞蹈作為一種在身體之間協商的關係力量。 Kornkarn Rungsawang 將傳統的泰國民間馬舞實踐與基於藝術家騎馬經驗的節奏結構相結合，運用​​具身聆聽和編舞動作，探索民間戲劇傳統和正念練習如何融入當代舞者的身體之中。 *12月6日的場次結束後將設有演後談（以英語進行）。 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Presented by Eaton HK, Live at Eaton is a new contemporary performance festival expanding the boundaries of performance in Hong Kong. Beyond mainstream theatre and dance, it treats performance as a tool for knowledge production and community building—merging choreography, materiality, research, lived experience, and identity. Festival Theme: Daily Practice: Staging Self, Objects, and Others Initiated by co-directors Tang Fukuen and Joseph Chen, the inaugural edition examines the labor, habits, and rituals of daily life as performative acts. It explores how repetitive actions shape selfhood, body-material relations, and social conditions. This edition proposes an experimental "workshop performance" format, blending interactive education with live art where collective learning becomes a creative, critical, and communal experience.
