Live at Eaton: A 1-on-1 performance confronting service labor via live physical care & art. 逸東現場藝術祭：結合現場身體護理互動與模擬展場，直面基層服務業女性的身體耗損與社會真實。 Won't Go Home Until I Make It 不成功不回家 Wiangthong Wilawan (Thailand 泰國) Rooted in fieldwork among service workers and the artist's own training as a masseuse, Wilawan Wiangthong’s project blurs the line between functional labor and live artwork. Set within an environment simulating a karaoke room and massage shop, the work features a two-day performance where Wiangthong provides body movement guidance to visitors, confronting the bodily toll of service work through direct physical exchange. 作品基於曼谷服務業勞工的田野調查及藝術家親身接受的按摩訓練，模糊了實用勞動與現場藝術的界線。Wiangthong 於模擬卡拉 OK 房與按摩店的展場中進行為期兩個月的行為表演，每日親自為觀眾提供身體伸展指導，透過直接的肢體互動與感官接觸，直面基層服務業女性所承擔的身體耗損與社會真實。 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Presented by Eaton HK, Live at Eaton is a new contemporary performance festival expanding the boundaries of performance in Hong Kong. Beyond mainstream theatre and dance, it treats performance as a tool for knowledge production and community building—merging choreography, materiality, research, lived experience, and identity. Festival Theme: Daily Practice: Staging Self, Objects, and Others Initiated by co-directors Tang Fukuen and Joseph Chen, the inaugural edition examines the labor, habits, and rituals of daily life as performative acts. It explores how repetitive actions shape selfhood, body-material relations, and social conditions. This edition proposes an experimental "workshop performance" format, blending interactive education with live art where collective learning becomes a creative, critical, and communal experience.
