Sound Bath: Ambient Electronic & Traditional Instruments

A Jazz Weekend Slowdown • Ambient • Singing Bowls • Chimes • Synthesizer • Tongue Drum • Piano • FX Take time to slow down and switch off with this unique sound bath in the beautiful setting of Cork Lotus Yoga studio, immersing yourself in traditional, electronic, and peaceful jazz inspired sounds. As well as crystal singing bowls, chimes and other instruments, I’ll use subtle electronic loops, piano and effects, creating an ambient flow aimed at promoting deep relaxation. For this special "Autumn Leaves" session during the bank holiday weekend, you can also expect gentle improvisationary forms and standards inspired by the jazz tradition, whilst still keeping that restorative and soothing atmosphere. A sound bath is a unique opportunity to be at rest and fully immerse yourself in a live sound and music experience, and I hope this Sunday evening session will be perfect for unwinding after the busy weekend or easing into the week ahead. Mats are provided to lie or sit on and blankets are also available. Important: • There are several flights of steps to access the studio. • Music can be powerful and therapeutic, promoting relaxation and changes in brain state. I am facilitating this experience as a qualified musician - I do not have medical / therapy qualifications.
