Brighton Sauna

1. It is recommended not to use drugs, or alcohol prior to or during the sauna session as this may lead to dizziness or unconsciousness. 2. Please consult your physician regarding any medication you are using prior to using the sauna. This must be disclosed as being approved prior to use of the sauna. 3. No guests under the age of 18 are permitted in the sauna unless accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or supervising and consenting adult. 4. Please discontinue the use of the sauna if you feel light-headed, dizzy, or heat exhausted. 5. Sauna sessions should be limited to a maximum of 50 minutes at one time. Please ensure you take breaks throughout your sauna session. 6. It is advisable to drink water before and after the sauna session. 7. It is advisable to not eat at least one to two hours prior to your sauna session, as this may lead to you feeling unwell. 8. It is advisable to shower prior to your sauna session. 9. If you have an open wound, you will not be permitted to use the sauna. 10. Pregnant women should consult a physician prior to the use of the sauna. Excessive body temperatures have a potential for causing foetal damage during the early stages of pregnancy. 11. Do not use any lotions, make-up, or chemicals prior to the sauna session. These items may block pores and affect perspiration as well as, stain the wood in the sauna or cause irritation to other guests. It is solely your responsibility to monitor your body and its’ reactions and determine if it is appropriate to use the sauna. You alone are responsible for your safety and well-being. I acknowledge and accept the risks inherent in using the sauna. I voluntarily assume the risk of injury, accident or death which may arise from the use of the sauna. I and any of my heirs, executors, representatives, or assigns hereby release Oranga Saunas from all claims or liabilities for personal injury or property damages of any kind sustained while on the premises, during the use of the sauna, and from any advice provided by an employee, independent contractor, or any representative of Oranga Saunas. I agree that this Application and Waiver is in effect for all sauna sessions with Oranga Saunas and will not expire unless requested by either party. I also understand it is my personal responsibility to consult with my doctor regarding my suitability to use the sauna.
