<p><br></p><p>GOODNIGHT NURSE ARE BACK&hellip; AGAIN</p><p>New Zealand pop-punk favourites celebrate 20 years of Always &amp; Never with one final run of shows</p><p><br></p><p>To celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut album<strong><em>&nbsp;Always &amp; Never</em></strong>, the band are coming out of retirement one last time for<strong><em>&nbsp;The Always and Never (Again!) Tour</em></strong> - three final shows across New Zealand before they hang up their studded belts for good.</p><p>For the first time ever, Always &amp; Never will also be available on <em><strong>limited-edition purple vinyl</strong></em>, with pre-orders opening Monday 31 August.</p><p>Playing <strong><em>Auckland&rsquo;s Powerstation</em></strong> on Friday 13 November, the band then head south for a show at <em><strong>Loons</strong></em> in <em><strong>Christchurch&nbsp;</strong></em>on Thursday 19 November before what promises to be a final show for the ages at <em><strong>San Fran</strong></em> in <strong><em>Wellington</em></strong> on Friday 20 November. Tickets for all dates go on sale 12pm Thursday 3 September from <a href="http://eccles.co.nz">eccles.co.nz</a></p><p>Released in 2006, their debut album, Always &amp; Never, has remained a favourite among pop-punk fans over the years. That album was the beginning of a nine-year career for Goodnight Nurse. They played hundreds of shows throughout New Zealand and Australia, released two NZ Top 5 albums and scored five NZ Top 40 singles.</p><p>&ldquo;When we got back together in 2023 for the My Chemical Romance show, it felt like there was something special in the air,&rdquo; says lead singer Joel Little, who has gone on to write and produce hit songs with artists including Taylor Swift, Lorde and Khalid. &ldquo;So when the 20th anniversary of Always &amp; Never rolled around, we thought, what better way could we possibly celebrate this than by reliving the glory days one last time?&rdquo;</p><p>&ldquo;We started making music to have fun with our friends, and just for the simple joy of doing it,&rdquo; says drummer<strong><em>&nbsp;Jaden Parkes</em></strong>, now one of the lead singers of hugely popular band <strong><em>Leisure</em></strong> and the longtime Head of A&amp;R at Sony Music NZ. &ldquo;Playing these songs live again takes you right back to that feeling.&rdquo;</p><p>And for day one fans, there&rsquo;s one more reason to make this final tour a must-see.</p><p>Original bass player and fan favourite<em><strong>&nbsp;Paul Taite</strong></em> will be joining the band onstage for the tour, playing the songs he helped shape and bringing Goodnight Nurse full circle 20 years after Always &amp; Never first landed.</p><p><strong><em>The Always and Never (Again!)
