Full description from organizerShow less
The Azo Project Association presents “Close Range,” a group exhibition developed in the context of an artistic residency, bringing together resident artists around small-scale work. The works result from distinct processes and cross different materials and approaches. The reduced format emerges as a common condition, bringing the viewer closer to the pieces and inviting a more direct relationship, where the gaze adjusts to the scale of each work. More than a formal characteristic, the size of the works participates in the way they are perceived, influencing the relationship between body, space, and attention. The exhibition is thus organized as a set of situations of proximity, where each piece proposes its own mode of observation. It also includes moments of studios open to the public, allowing access to workspaces and ongoing processes.
