Sword and Tea - Practice & Ceremony

Part of ATÉ CHÁ: Lisbon's first TEA Festival (12th-19th October in Lisbon) An encounter between Martial arts & the Way of Tea. Martial arts and tea have long met through shared qualities: dedication, repetition, precision, and presence. Martial practice refines the body in movement, while the way of Tea refines stillness. Together, they offer a cultivation of inner force. For 2.5 hours precision meets stillness — a journey through Qi energy, Japanese sword tradition, and the Way of the Tea as a ritual of stillness. Included Internal martial arts and Qi cultivation Foundational sword movement and posture Japanese Tea practice Space for reflection and presence. Teachers Led by Greta Oros, Tao teacher and practitioner of the Way of Tea, and Inácio Cristo Dias, 6th Dan of Jisei Budo, teacher of sword arts and founder of Jisei Dojo. Greta brings the internal dimension of Qi (energy) cultivation, meditation, and the way of Tea, Inácio guides the external discipline of sword and body practice. Japanese lunch (optional) Optional, after-practice Ramen lunch gathering at an authentic Japanese ramen place, near the dojo, to connect and nourish.
