Gathering Light: A Gratitude & Remembrance Experience

A restorative nature-based gathering to reflect, create with seasonal greenery, express gratitude, and connect in community. Gathering Light: A Gratitude & Remembrance Experience is a restorative horticultural therapy gathering designed to help you slow down, reflect on the year behind you, and honor the journey through nature, creativity, and community. As the year comes to a close, we’ll gather at Oyun Botanical Gardens for a peaceful, hands-on experience centered around gratitude and remembrance. Participants will be guided through a gentle reflection before creating a beautiful seasonal greenery arrangement using natural materials. Your arrangement can serve as a centerpiece, a symbol of gratitude, or a remembrance piece honoring a person, experience, or chapter of your journey. Throughout the gathering, enjoy: • Guided gratitude and end-of-year reflection • A hands-on seasonal greenery arrangement workshop • Herbal tea and light refreshments • A peaceful, grounding environment surrounded by nature • Meaningful time for connection and community No gardening or floral design experience is needed. This experience is less about making something “perfect” and more about allowing the process of working with nature to create space for reflection, creativity, and connection. Together, we’ll reflect, create, and connect as we gather the wisdom of the year and carry its light forward.
