Forest Bathing Meditation with Sarah Waite

Unwind and reconnect with your true self and nature through a meditation session inside and surrounded by nature. Forest Bathing (Shinrin Yoku) is a practice of mindfully immersing oneself in nature. Thoughtfully crafted invitations aid in awakening the senses and drawing a deeper appreciation for the world around us. This program will begin with an indoor grounding medication and breathwork. You will then be guided through nature invitations to aid in deepening your connection to nature. It will conclude with a tea ceremony, reciprocity to nature meditation, and optional sharing circle. This opportunity to reconnect with self and nature are open to all, new or experienced medtators. This event will take place rain or shine. The Forest Bathing Meditation is donation based, registration is recommended. Sarah Waite is a Stow local and founder of the wellness business, YouBloom LLC. All of her classes are designed under a trauma informed lens and with a deep respect for nature. Over the last seven years as an instructor she has continued her education through becoming a forest bathing guide, Leave No Trace Level One Educator, and Thai Massage practitioner. She also has certifications in trauma informed yoga, meditation, restorative yoga, chair yoga, among other certifications.
