BELONGING: A Sacred Breathwork Journey

An intimate somatic breathwork journey into belonging--within yourself, with others, and in the spaces where you're free to come as you are. Have you ever left time with friends, ... coworkers, ... or family feeling absolutely drained? Not because anything terrible happened. But because, somewhere along the way, ... and maybe the entire time, ... you've been bracing to keep a mask on of the version of you that FITS IN with that crowd. You were reading the room. Monitoring yourself. Holding something back. Perhaps laughing at jokes you didn't think were funny. Being agreeable. Getting along. Maybe you've gotten so used to this adaptive behavior that you barely even notice anymore. But your body doesn't lie. You come home absolutely exhausted. The tension in your shoulders. The breath you've been holding. Maybe constipation or indigestion. Acid reflux. TMJ. And maybe you tell yourself that it is because you are an introvert and get re-energized when alone. And that may be true. While simultaneously being that this crowd doesn't actually feed your soul. How much energy does it take to keep wearing the masks that help us fit in? And what would it feel like to enter a space where you didn't have to? BELONGING is an invitation to leave the masks at the door. For a few hours, you do not have to perform your way into contact. You don't have to be the healed version of yourself. The confident version. The emotionall put-together version. The one that has to hold it all together for everybody else. The one who has the answers, the direction, or the right advice. You do not have to prove that you are worthy of taking up space here. I welcome all of you--exactly as you are, in the particular moment of life you are in. Through Somatic Breathwork, reflection, and shared experience, we'll create space to turn toward what is here beneath the performing, adjusting, people-pleasing, and protecting. You don't need to arrive with answers. You only need to bring your curiosity and willingness to meet yourself as you are. Because fitting in may ask us to become someone else... while True Belonging begins with learning not to leave ourselves. Come as you are. Your breath. Your pace. Your choice.
