Building on the momentum of the International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists (IYRP 2026), the event moves the conversation from recognition to action, exploring five questions at the heart of pastoralism's future: land and mobility, governance and rights, conservation, finance, and the next generation. Drawing on IMPACT Kenya's two decades working alongside Indigenous communities in Northern Kenya, the session closes with a panel discussion charting practical pathways for pastoralist-led solutions beyond IYRP. Format: Storytelling, documentary screening and moderated dialogueDuration: 2 hours (90-minute programme + 30-minute lunch and networking)
