Somatic Play: Embodied Connection & Conscious Relating | NYC

Explore embodied connection and conscious relating through movement, playful practices, and communication. Singles and couples welcome. A guided experience of embodied connection, conscious relating, and play. In a world where we’re constantly connected, how often do we truly feel connected? We may want deeper relationships, yet struggle to express what we feel, ask for what we need, communicate a boundary, or recognize the patterns that shape how we relate. Somatic Play is an invitation to experience a different way of connecting—with ourselves and with each other. Through intuitive movement, playful exploration, embodied awareness, and conscious communication, we practice recognizing our feelings and needs, expressing clear requests, listening, and relating with greater presence. Rooted in the Somatic Intelligence™ Framework, this guided group experience allows us to explore how we respond when another person is actually in front of us. Who is this for? For singles, couples, partners, and friends who want to deepen their relationships, explore conscious relating, and experience meaningful connection beyond small talk. Come on your own or with someone you know. No previous somatic experience is necessary. What you may take away • Greater awareness of how you respond and communicate in relationships. • Practice expressing feelings, needs, and boundaries. • More confidence making requests and listening to another person’s response. • A felt experience of connection, presence, and co-regulation. An additional layer of support The experience will also incorporate MagHealy, a frequency-based magnetic-field wellness device, as a complementary element in the space. All guests will receive an email before the event with the address, arrival instructions, and everything they need to know before coming to the center.
