Time to go Wild! It's a natural state yet life can sometimes turn us into creatures of habit, patterns of labour that restrict our creative expression. Dance offers us a playground to let go and release, move back into that natural way of life that pulses through us. Re-inspire your dance, set your self free on the dance floor and perhaps, just for an hour...go wild! Ecstatic Dance is a freeform practice that invites you to dance like no one is watching to delve under the layers of holding and resistance to set your inner dancer free. Joyous celebration of life on the dance floor, to be in the moment moving which ever way you wish, to be in community as you express and release, ground and uplift your spirit to ecstatic states, alcohol, drug and smoke free. The Dancing Dhevas community is a group dedicated to dancing with passion and authenticity, there is no talking and yet we get to know each other on the dance floor. To move with such authenticity that it liberates the bubbles of ecstasy. Come as you are or bring a friend, we share a dance floor of like minded souls who move as one and celebrate life in all its complexities in one moment. Dance the dance only you can dance. No right or wrong and no set moves, open up to a world of possibilities beyond your imagination, with you, the dance floor and great music! TIME: Saturday November 21st, 6:30 to 9pm, DOORS SHUT at 7:00 no entry after then. Waged - $30 Concession - $25 $1-100 Pay it forward - Add a donation to help those in need of financial assistance get to a dance. Dancing Dhevas will match your donation. Cancellation & Event Guidelines Refunds or ticket transfers to another event can be requested up to 24 hours before the event. After this time, tickets may be transferred to a friend by the ticket holder. This is an alcohol-free, drug-free, and smoke-free event. Management reserves the right to refuse entry to ensure the safety and integrity of the space. We invite full presence on the dance floor — no devices(smart watches too), no photography or Shazam. Please arrive ready to be presen, just as others are. This is a barefoot, non-verbal dance space. No shoes and no talking on the dance floor. We gather because we love to dance, to listen, and to move together. First Time at Dancing Dhevas? Dancing Dhevas is a free-form conscious dance practice that invites you to move as only you can — with authenticity, curiosity, and freedom. It’s an opportunity to let go of judgement and discover a dance that is uniquely yours, one that can’t be copied or performed. Conscious dance is an active meditation. As each person drops into their own movement, the room shifts — energy builds, barriers soften, and natural ecstasy emerges. There’s no right or wrong way to dance, only presence. Theva began Dancing Dhevas in 2010 when there was a dire need for self expression and release on the dance floor. It has become a sanctuary for many, a place of solitude yet full of connection, and a place where we can return to the self. Come as you are, or bring a friend. We share the floor with like-minded souls, moving together and celebrating life in all its complexity, moment by moment.
