Reiki for Mums

There’s no pause button in motherhood, so come and take a moment for yourself. Reiki for mums. Life with young or school-age children can be fun and fulfilling, but also tiring. Children are experts at pushing our buttons, and they rarely stop until we run out of patience or manage to hold on to our calm. It’s hard being a mum, especially when babies are small. There’s no pause button. No one else can breastfeed for you or carry the responsibility of a little one, and with hormones and emotions in the mix, it’s easy to find yourself at the end of your tether more often than you’d like. Although that’s understandable, it’s not somewhere you want to stay. Come and enjoy a mindful break, even if you’re not ready to leave your little one behind. You’ll receive a 30-minute Reiki treatment in the same room as your children. Babies can relax beside you on a blanket, while older children can enjoy a craft activity at a table nearby. Children of any age are welcome, with craft activities suitable for up to age 10. Please bring any food or essentials your little ones might need. Breastfeeding is very welcome. Mums are also welcome to come along without their children. Drop in any time between 9:30 and 12:00 (last entry 11:30).
