Digital ReSPECT Authorship Training

This practical workshop is aimed at doctors, senior nurses & AHP's who are undertaking ReSPECT conversations as part of their role. This 3-hr training was developed to complement the Derbyshire wide ReSPECT competencies which can be found on the Derbyshire Alliance for End of Life Care Toolkit. As part of the Respect Competencies it is recommended that participants also complete Tier 2 Enhanced Communication Skills which is available to book via Ashgate Hospice Eventbrite page. It important that you are able to access digital ReSPECT on the DSCR to practice your skills post workshop. During the workshop we will work through a DCSR digital ReSPECT plan using a case study. We will cover: · What is the ReSPECT process. · How to navigate the DSCR. · Who may benefit from a ReSPECT discussion. · How to use the form to shape your ReSPECT conversation. · Ethical decision making at end of life. The venue is the Boardroom Room at Ashgate Hospice which is situated on the ground floor in the Harry Fisher Building.
