Gardening (it’s for the PLOT)

Let’s spend a morning in nature and learn some basic gardening skills with lots of likeminded people Time spent in nature is essential for regulating our nervous systems as neurodivergent people. And locking in to a hands-on task is great for quieting our busy brains and getting a well-deserved surge of endorphins. It’s time to let all of that pent up tension from the work week go and focus on connecting with the natural world around us. Whether you are an avid gardener or have never touched a plant before in your life, this session is perfect for you. The wonderful staff at the nature reserve will guide us through each task so you’ll know exactly what to do. The tasks will be things like invasive plant removal, reedbed clearance, meadow management and general site maintenance/clearance. They are easy tasks with the best satisfaction when completed. You can complete tasks as quickly or as slowly as you like; the main thing is you spend a morning with great company, make lots of likeminded friends and enjoy some peaceful time in nature. I can’t wait to see you there!
