Join Sarah Manuwal, M.A., CCHt, and the Philosophical Research Society for an exploration of dream interpretation and the unconscious mind. Exploring the Unconscious: A Dreamwork Circle with Sarah Manuwal Dreams have fascinated philosophers, mystics, and psychologists for centuries. In this workshop, we will explore how dreams offer a direct window into the psyche, revealing symbolic language, emotional truths, and unconscious processes often hidden from waking awareness. Through a guided lecture and discussion, participants will learn foundational approaches to interpreting dream symbols and imagery, build a relationship with their dreams, and explore how dream content may reflect their own inner life. We will trace the long history of dreamwork, dating back from the Ancient Greek Healing Temples of Asclepius, through esoteric figures such as John Dee, to contemporary practices such as Dream Tending , and Robert Johnson. W e will learn to understand dreamwork a s a rich and living lineage. The workshop begins with a structured lecture and closes with an interactive discussion on practical ways to continue dreamwork on your own or in a group. It is an opportunity to deepen your self-understanding, expand your esoteric and psychological literacy, a s well as connect with others through the shared language of dreams. About the Facilitator Sarah Manuwal, M.A., CCHt, is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Dream Analyst, with a background in the arts. She has spent over a decade exploring integrative and non -traditional healing practices, including dream analysis, hypnosis, guided imagery, breathwork, Reiki, EFT tapping, past life regression, and therapeutic journaling, alongside the study of mythology, the history of consciousness, and depth psychology. She is a graduate of the Clinical Hypnotherapy program at the Hypnosis Motivation Institute and earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles in 2022, with training grounded in object relations theory and psychoanalytic thought. Sarah also holds a BFA in Film Production from New York University and an MFA in Experimental Animation from the California Institute of the Arts. She has led Dreamwork Circles at the Philosophical Research Society since 2022. Sarah offers private dreamwork and hypnotherapy sessions through Inner Alchemy with Sarah Manuwal.
