Make & Take: Meal Prep for Food People

Learn how to prep ahead and make sure you eat well, even when you’re busy. Hands-on. For ages 16+. You’ll work in small teams during class. Age Restrictions For ages 16 & up Description In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, eating well keeps you going when it’s more important than ever—and for people who love food, exciting and delicious meals are key. Instead of the repetition and rigidity of the traditional meal prep routine, we’ll show you how to make the most of your time with smart tips to increase meal-prep efficiency and flexibility and keep your weekly menu rotation exciting. Together we’ll walk through how to shop by the seasons to take advantage of fresh produce, proteins, and flavors to keep you inspired year-round. You’ll also learn how to mix and match sauces and vinaigrettes, pick up easy “hands-off” oven-focused cooking methods, and how to strategically get the most out of a rotisserie chicken. At the end of class, you’ll leave with a stack of pre-packed, fully prepped meals in reusable containers of your own to get you started off strong. You will be working in a small group. For ages 16 and up. Attendees not yet 17 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Each attendee must purchase a ticket.
