Join me on an intentional journey into your body through dance and somatic movement to clear blocks and feel deeply into your body and being. I am Melanie, I have over 25 years experience as a dancer, including over 10 years performing professionally in Australia and overseas. Despite my connection to and work with my body, it is only since becoming a mother 10 years ago, that I began my journey into true embodiment. Through modalities such as yoga, breathwork, Qi Gong, and nervous system and somatic tools, I have finally developed a deep joy and peace within. As well as found safety within myself, and within the world. I invite you on this explorative journey, as a weekly offering, where we will expand our capacity to feel, and be with our bodies. As well as shift and clear blocks of stagnancy and energetic knotting, to elevate and invite flow into our spirit and lives. We will connect our styles of movement and rythym to different earthly and cosmic elements. Through free dance as well as intentional structured movements, I encourage you to find your stillness and safety and also shake off any shackles restricting your flow in life. These classes are open to all abilities and fitness levels. They intend to leave you feeling deeply grounded and enlivenlived as you release the week and begin each weekend renewed. Exchange is $28 ($25 cash :) for General Admission. Bring a friend for $22/each ($40 cash for both :). Solo mama's can attend via donation.
