Join us at Queen Victoria Hospital, an internationally renowned centre for Head & Neck Surgery to hear from our multidisciplinary team. Join us to hear from members of our Head and Neck multidisciplinary team including Head and Neck Consultant Surgeons, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Prosthetists, Clinical Psychologists, Ward Nurses, Dietitians and Speech and Language Therapists as well as patient speakers. Day 1 - Please book separtately on Eventbrite - Wednesday 4th November 2026 Surgical management of Head and Neck Cancer • An overview of Head and Neck Cancer pathway • Surgical management of Head and Neck cancer including free flap reconstruction • Nursing management following major head and neck surgery • Prosthetic reconstruction • Patient story Day 2 - Thursday 5th November 2026 Functional outcomes following Head and Neck surgery • Communication after oral/oropharyngeal surgery • The normal swallow function & swallow complications after head and neck surgery • Nutritional considerations • Psychological considerations after head and neck surgery • Laryngectomy surgical procedure • Alteration to function after laryngectomy • Discharging a patient from hospital after laryngectomy • Patient story (laryngectomy) Feedback from our last sessions include: 'Content and speakers brilliant - no improvement needed!'
